What is Cryotherapy?

Cryotherapy

Our innovative Kaasen Local Cryotherapy treatment allows targeted relief for your chronic pain or onset of pain from new injuries. High-pressured CO2 allows for a massage-effect, while the sub-freezing temperatures reduces the inflammation that is causing the pain. The final step of the treatment utilizes the cold irons to massage the treatment area to calm the connective muscles and tendons that surround the source of pain.

Power Plate Vibration

Boost muscle and bone growth and density by releasing Osteoblast, the fortifying cell that strengthens bones and surrounding ligaments and muscles, while improving blood circulation, flushing out the lymphatic system as well as burning calories during each 10-minute session.

How does Cryotherapy work?

Cryotherapy uses localized CO2 to cause thermal shock to the skin, this causes the fat cells to crystalize and flatten, as soon as we take the cold source away, the body warms the area quickly by expanding the blood vessels to around 4 times their original diameter (vasodilation) to allow a rush of freshly oxygenated blood to saturate the tissue. Additionally, hormones, neurotransmitters, and nutrients flood into the area. At the same time, unhealthy and waste byproducts are pushed towards your lymphatic system.
